Adjunct Instructor, First Year Writing

Position Overview:  The Department of English invites applications to teach “Introduction to College Writing” as an adjunct instructor in the fall 2018. This is a course in academic writing and instructors will be required to use They Say/I Say: The Moves that Matter in Academic Writing along with a reader or set of readings of their choice.  The currently available sections will meet for 75 minutes each on the following days and times: Monday/Wednesday at 8:00, 9:30, 3:30 and Tuesday/Thursday at 8:00 and 2:00. Applicants will be considered who can teach one or two sections of the available sections. The semester begins on Tuesday, September 4. 

Requirements:  Master of Arts in English, with college-level teaching experience.
